From the Großglockner to the Dolomites - driving fun is guaranteed!
If you are not familiar with our area, we have listed some excursion tips for you here and put together a small route suggestion.

Great Hochkönig Tour
The approximately 110km long route starts in Goldegg and leads over the Pinzgau directly to Zell am See.
The beautiful city is perfect for shopping and walking.
There you have a fabulous view of Lake Zell and the Kaprun Glacier.
Numerous restaurants and coffee houses invite you to take a short break.
After this refreshment, the route continues past Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer towards Maria Alm.
This is where the exciting part of the route begins. Enjoy the curves of the Filzensattel and Dientner Sattel and stop at the foot of the Hochkönig to capture this experience with pictures.
The end of the route leads via Mühlbach to Bischofshofen and back along the federal road to us in Goldegg.

Postalm Tour
The short tour takes you via the Postalmstraße to Bad Ischl and back via the Lammertal.
Pass roads, lakes and lots of driving fun are guaranteed!
The approximately 200km long tour starts in Goldegg and leads over the Lueg pass and towards Abtenau to the mountain road with a length of 28.5 kilometers.
With a small snack in one of the huts you can marvel at the beautiful Alpine pasture area of the Postalm. After this refreshment, we head back downhill towards Strobl on Lake Wolfgangsee.
The route now takes you further into Upper Austria, past Bad Ischl and directly to Hallstatt for sightseeing.
You now reach Salzburgerland again via Gosau and can end the journey via Annaberg, Hüttau and Bischofshofen.

6 - Lakes Tour
The approximately 300km long route starts in Goldegg and over the Lammertal to the tourist hotspot Hallstatt.
From Lake Hallstatt we continue via Bad Ischl to Lake Traunsee.
The route takes you over a small pass directly to the Attersee and the subsequent Mondsee - the perfect places for a stop at the numerous inns & coffees.
After this refreshment you come to the last two lakes - Lake Wolfgang and Lake Fuschl.
We head over the Wiestal towards Hallein and over the Lueg pass back to us in Goldegg.

There are several sights along the route that make it a great day trip.
This route is also perfect for a two day trip and an overnight stay at one of the lakes.

Rossfeld Tour
The short tour takes you via Rossfeldstrasse and the Deutschen Eck to Lofer and back via Dienten.
Pass roads, a TOP view of Salzburg and lots of driving fun are guaranteed!
The approximately 200km long tour starts in Goldegg and leads over the Lueg pass and towards Hallein. From Hallein you can drive to the toll station on the Rossfeld Panoramastrasse.
At the top of the border between Austria and Germany you deserve a coffee and can enjoy the breathtaking view of Salzburg.
Then the route continues to Berchtesgaden, past Königsee and via Schneizlreuth back to Austria.
Via Saalfelden you come towards Dienten and can drive to us in Goldegg via the Dientner Sattel or the normal country road.

Great Grossglockner tour
A tour along the Großglockner High Alpine Road in a Porsche - a dream comes true!
The approximately 300km long route starts in Goldegg and leads over the Pinzgau directly to the Großglockner High Alpine Road and to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe.

After you have enjoyed the view over the glacier, the route goes to Heiligenblut in Carinthia and from there towards Seeboden on Lake Millstättersee.
In Seeboden, numerous restaurants invite you to take a lunch break with a snack.
After this refreshment, the route continues over the Katschberg into the Lungau, past Mauterndorf and to the top Obertauern ski area for coffee and cake.
At the end of this route you will return from Obertauern via Altenmarkt and Wagrain to us in Goldegg.

Travel time: 12 hours
South Tyrol tour (3 days)
The approximately 660 kilometer long tour starts in 5622 Goldegg and leads over the Felbertauern directly to Italy. Alternatively, you could also drive here via the Großglockner High Alpine Road.
From Cortina you reach Val Gardena via numerous very winding roads. There is no shortage of driving fun here and this beautiful area also offers ideal accommodation thanks to numerous hotels.
After an invigorating breakfast, the next stage of the tour takes you towards Bozen and Merano in the Passeier Valley to the Jaufenpass. Once you have arrived in Vipiteno, continue towards Brixen and from there take the main road or the many side roads to Bruneck.
Bruneck is the main town of the Pustertal and has several restaurants and hotels that invite you to linger.
The journey home then takes the Staller saddle back to Austria and over the Felbertauern back to us in Goldegg.

There are several sights and many more pass roads along the route, making it a great 3-day trip with an overnight stay. For frequent travelers, this tour can of course also be done on two days.

Wörthersee Tour (2 days)
The approximately 480km long route starts in Goldegg and leads from Flachau via the Tauern and the Katschberg directly to Gmünd. In Gmünd we always recommend car lovers to visit the small but nice place Porsche Museum.
After a short break you can continue to Lake Millstättersee and via Feld am See to Lake Wörthersee.
In the summer months, the region around Lake Wörthersee is very lively and offers numerous top restaurants and hotels, so we recommend that you stay overnight here.
The next day you can enjoy the trip from Wörthersee back to Lungau via the Carinthian Nockberge or over the Turracherhöhe! These winding roads are pure driving fun!
From Tamsweg you can drive across the beautiful Krakow plain, past the Prebersee towards Sölktal and the Sölkpass. The end of the tour leads from Gröbming and over the Ramsau to Filzmoos and then back to us in Goldegg.

There are several sights on the route that make it a great 2-day trip with an overnight stay. For frequent travelers, this can of course also be done in one day.

Grand Tour Austria (4 days)
The approximately 1010km long tour is for anyone who wanted to combine a sports car tour with a vacation. Depending on your preference, this tour can also be extended over a longer period of time and you can book one or more overnight stays in many places.
Our route was calculated without a highway.
The highlights of this tour are the many different places that you visit on this tour: Upper Austrian lake region, Wachau vineyards, city of Vienna, Lake Neusiedl, Styrian vineyards, Carinthian lake region and the Carinthian and Salzburg mountains.
The tour starts in Goldegg and leads via Hallstatt and Bad Ischl to the Wachau. We definitely recommend staying overnight in this wonderful area.
We continue via Vienna with many opportunities for shopping at Lake Neusiedl - also a recommended place to stay overnight.
Next, continue on winding roads into the Styrian volcanic country to Bad Radkersburg. In this area there are many sights and very tasty food and good wine from the region.
There are also many accommodation options here.
The tour continues over the Soboth to Carinthia and the famous Wörthersee - an area with top restaurants and hotels.
The way back to us in Goldegg can take several winding paths such as the Nockalmstraße, via Gmünd (Porsche Museum), the Katschbergstraße or via the Großglockner. No matter which path you choose, you will definitely have a lot of fun.
